Do you ship?

Currently, Mama Tong ships anywhere in the state of California.

How does the soup stay frozen when it's shipped?

We ship our soups frozen, in insulated containers, via Fed Ex.

How are the soups and broths packaged?

The frozen soups and broths are packaged chilled (never hot or even warm) in BPA-free pouches. At some locations, our Bone Broth is available refrigerated in glass jars. Please see our Where to Buy page for a complete list of locations.

How long do frozen soups last?

Mama Tong soups and broths are made weekly in small batches. If purchased frozen we recommend consuming by the Best By date written on your soup/broth. Once defrosted use or refreeze within five days. For our refrigerated Bone Broth purchased in glass jars, we recommend using within *three weeks.

How do I heat up my frozen soup/broth?

For best results, leave frozen until you are ready to eat. Then, tear or cut the packaging off the frozen soup/broth and place the frozen block in a saucepan on low to avoid scalding.

Are your soups and broths only for new mamas?

No, not at all! Some of the soups are traditionally given to women recovering from childbirth, but all of the soups and broths are wonderful for anyone looking for a delicious, nourishing meal.

What kind of water filtration do you use?

Friends of Water, and highly recommend it!
